Brings Prize Bison Bull
to Celebrate the
Lewis and Clark “Bison-tennial

SayersBrook Bison Ranch to be a sponsor of the signature celebration in St. Charles, Missouri, from May 14 through May 23, 2004

- SayersBrook Bison Ranch, Conference Center and Resort will be a sponsor of the Lewis and Clark Signature Bicentennial Celebration in St. Charles, MO, May 14 through the May 23, 2004.. As a sponsor and an anchor of the Bishop’s Landing site, SayersBrook will host a 120-foot tent and sell Bison lunches and dinners, souvenirs, items made from Bison leather, Bison summer sausage and snack sticks. SayersBrook will also bring several of their Bison calves to exhibit for children to see.

ThunderBear, the world renowned herd bull who was the son of the only 3-time gold trophy winner of the National Bison Show and Sale in Denver, Colorado’s Western Stock show, has been fully preserved and will be with the exhibit. Visitors will be able to get their pictures taken with ThunderBear and have the picture transferred to a T-shirt to take home with them.

The National Bison Association will be a part of the SayersBrook exhibit. They will address questions about the breeding and use of bison and bison products from the early days of our country’s beginnings to the present.

SayersBrook will move up river to Washington, Missouri for their celebration of the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial, May 24 and May 25. ThunderBear will accompany the exhibit in Washington, MO, but the bison calves will not.

SayersBrook Bison Ranch is located 90 minutes south of St. Louis near Potosi, Missouri, in the beautiful Ozark Mountains and next to the Mark Twain Forest. The Ranch hosts tours daily for groups of 20 to 300. On Saturdays there is an open tour at 10 a.m. that does not require reservations.
